The invention relates to a fitting (1) of a sanitary device (2), comprising at least one first fluid channel (3) and a second fluid channel (4). The first fluid channel (3) can be fluidically connected to a first liquid line (6) which is arranged outside of the fitting (5) and is installed in a fixed manner via a first connection (5) of the fitting (1), and the second fluid channel (4) can be fluidically connected to a second liquid line (8) which is arranged outside of the fitting (1) and is installed in a fixed manner via a second connection (7) of the fitting (1). The fitting (1) has at least one first receiving area (9) for a first adapter element (10), and the first adapter element (10) forms the first connection (5) and can be arranged at least in a first position (11) and in a second position (12) in the first receiving area (9).
