The invention relates to a drive device for moving a furniture part, the furniture part being attachable movably to a furniture body by means of a hinge, the drive device being connectable to the hinge at a first end portion of the drive device, the drive device being fixable to the furniture part by a second end portion of the drive device, and the first and the second end portion being provided opposite and at a distance from one another, wherein when the drive device is arranged on the furniture and the hinge is arranged on the furniture, the drive device is coupled movably to a hinge arm of the hinge by means of a drive element of the drive device so that, as a result of a movement of the drive element, the hinge arm and thus the furniture part is movable, wherein the drive element is connected pivotably to a linearly movable thrust element of the drive device by a first end of the drive element, wherein, when the drive device is arranged on the hinge, the drive element can be connected pivotably to the hinge arm of the hinge by a second end of the drive element.
