The invention relates to a protection device suitable for the posts of highway guardrails in the form of a double-wave (1) secured to vertical support posts (2) that are anchored in the ground, said device covering the part of the post between the double-wave (1) and the ground by means of a flexible covering formed by: an internal support structure (3) that can rotate to a maximum of 45 a flexible covering formed by two motor vehicle tyres (3) a strong, flexible oval-shaped strip (5) and a filling (7) which is soft, flexible and/or can deform in the event of an impact and which occupies the space and the cavities between the flexible strip (5) and the support structure (4).
Dispositivo de protección aplicable a los postes de los guardarraíles de carreteras, en forma de bionda (1) que se fija en postes de soporte verticales (2) anclados en el terreno, cubriendo la parte del poste comprendida entre la bionda (1) y el suelo por medio de un revestimiento flexible formado por una estructura soporte interior (3), susceptible de girar hasta un ángulo máximo de 45º un revestimiento flexible formado por dos ruedas de automóvil (3), una banda flexible y resistente (5) ovalada y un relleno (7) blando, flexible, y/o con capacidad de deformación ante un impacto, que ocupa el espacio y los huecos existentes entre la banda flexible (5) y la estructura soporte (3).
