Self-sufficient modular dwelling; comprising a construction (1) on which a multifunction device is mounted that incorporates a tank for collecting rainwater and photovoltaic panels (5) to produce and supply electric power to the dwelling. The tank comprises a laminar, flexible container (2) without inflatable elements with a capacity that adapts to the water held therein, with at least one top opening (21) provided with perimetral floats (22) and a flexible lid (4) that can be adjusted to the opening and provided with inner floats (42) and openings (43) for access of the rainwater into the container (2), provided with grilles to retain solids.
