The present invention concerns, in a first aspect, a stabilizing element (1) capable of stabilizing a strut (2) during a prop-up step, the stabilizing element (1) comprising a securing means capable of being secured on the longitudinal body (21) and a spring structure provided with an apex (11) configured to exert an upward pressure against the roof (T) when the roof (T) becomes slightly separated from the strut (2), providing sufficient friction to prevent the strut from being destabilized and falling, wherein the spring structure is configured to extend from the retention means to said apex (11) beyond the contour of the seat plate (22). A second aspect concerns an assembly of two stabilizing elements and a third aspect concerns an assembly of a strut and at least one stabilizing element.
