A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The connector 1 comprises a first connection region 2 comprising a limb 5, 6 for connecting with a first fence post (12, Fig. 5) and a second connection region 3 comprising a limb 7, 8 for connecting with a second fence post (15, Fig. 5). The connector further comprises a member 4 extending transversely to the limbs of the first and second connection regions and wherein the connector is arranged so that, in use, it provides passage of a fence panel or trellis past the connector. The member may comprise a scalloped or accurate region to allow said passage between slots (14, 17 Fig. 5) in fence posts. The connector may have an H profile. A method of manufacturing the connector, a fence comprising the connector and a method of manufacturing a fence having the connector are also claimed.
