The sliding door assembly 10 has housing 14, movement parts 11 and cleaning elements 13, wherein the cleaning elements clean a track during movement of the door. The cleaning elements can be felt pads that may be biased towards the track to sweep clear dirt or debris. Rollers or wheels may act as the movement parts, and an adjustment system, such as a threaded member 18 and correspondingly threaded aperture in the housing, may allow the position or height of the wheels or pads to be altered. A suspension system comprising a resiliently deformable element, such as a spring 19, may also be included. Cleaning pads may be located on support struts 16, and brackets 17 may be used to connect the assembly to a door. Also claimed is a slidable door featuring the assembly, and a kit of parts comprising the sliding door, sliding assembly and track.
