A plug door opening-closing apparatus 10 for use with a vehicle comprises a door hanger 25 capable of coupling a door 2, a movable guide 24 that guides movement of the door hanger 25 in a front-rear direction Y and moves in a width direction X, a guide support 44 that guides movement of the guide 24 in the width direction X and an interlock mechanism (60 fig 2) conforms a movement amount of a first portion of the guide 24 to a movement amount of a second portion of the guide 24 such that they move simultaneously. This prevents jamming of the door 2. The interlock mechanism (60 fig 2) may include a rotatable shaft 61 and link mechanisms 70. Each link mechanism 70 may include first 71 and second 72 links, the second link 72 may be rotatable relative to the guide 24. A phase setting unit may include a hole (61A fig 5) and a screw (74 fig 5). A rail plate (50 fig 2) may support an inclined rail 31. The support 44 may be a rail and the guide 24 may have a rotary body 27 that rolls on the rail. A door driving mechanism (20 fig 2) may include a threaded shaft 21 and a nut 22.
