    A container assembly includes a movable container (10) and a barrier member (22). The barrier member (22) is movable between a deployed position, in which the barrier member (22) projects beyond an outer perimeter of the container (10) to provide a barrier disposed adjacent to the container (10) to obstruct passage of people and/or vehicles, and a retracted position. The container assembly further includes a barrier holder (20) affixed to the container (10) and configured to hold the barrier member (22) when in the deployed position.
