Peg manipulator
A stake or peg holding device includes a main body 1 having a stake or peg holding and releasing system 2, 2a, 13 into which a stake or peg is placed for inserting into the ground or removing from the ground. Pressure is maintained on the stake or peg by way of a rod 4 and plate 5 that may act as a clamp, and may be controlled by using the hand operated mechanism 6 located close to the handle 7. A foot pressure bar 3 aids insertion of the stake or peg into the ground and may also be used to attach optional features to the device. The device may be fitted with a hook for manipulating guy lines and tethers and other functions. The device may also be fitted with the means to remove dirt and ground material that may have adhered to the stake or peg.
