A method of constructing a multi-layered building structure comprising extruding a pair of opposing flows of wet aggregate containing mixture 23 to define a pair of outer layers and a void therebetween, and simultaneously injecting a foam F into the void before the wet aggregate containing mixture dries. The wet aggregate containing mixture may be concrete. The foam may be insulating polyurethane foam. The concrete may be extruded from a pair of extruders 4A, 4B each having a forming surface. Each forming surface may have a leading end 17 from which concrete is extruded and a trailing edge 18, the trailing edges being selectively moveable towards and away from each other. Also claimed is a forming apparatus for wet aggregate mixture comprising a pair of extruders each having an extrusion outlet, the extrusion outlets opposing each other. In use the extruders extrude a wet aggregate mixture to form two opposing outer layers defining a void therebetween, with an injector arranged to release a foam into the void. The method and apparatus may be concerned with a three dimensional printing technique.
