The bracket assembly is a means for mechanically coupling a roof plate 4 to a roof structure such as a wall 5. The bracket assembly may comprise a roof structure member 2 and a roof plate member 3. The roof structure member which may be attached to a wall can include a base plate 21 and at least one arm 22. The arms may extend at an acute angle and provide a hooking part for the arm 32 of the roof plate member. The roof structure member may include two or multiple arms for attaching to two roof plate members. Also claimed is a method of attaching a roof panel to a roof structure.
