A bracket clip assembly includes a bracket base and a bracket cap. The bracket base has a first base end, a second base end opposite the first base end, and a base slot extending into the second base end toward the first base end that is configured to slidably receive a first structural member. The bracket cap has a first cap end and a second cap end opposite the first cap end. The second cap end of the bracket cap is configured to be removably secured to the first base end of the bracket base to secure a second structural member between the bracket base and the bracket cap.
