The unit 2 comprises n sheets of glazing material 4, 6, 8 and n-1 spacers 10, 12 in which the sheets of glazing material overlie each other, are all substantially parallel to each other and are separated from each other by a spacer. When in use, the first sheet of glazing material is the furthest from the temperature regulated volume while the nth sheet is the closest to the temperature regulated volume. The first sheet of the glazing material has, relative to the second sheet of glazing material, substantially the same or greater dimensions in the plane of the glazing material while the nth sheet of material has a smaller dimension than the second sheet of glazing material in at least one direction in the plane of the gazing material and n is greater than or equal to three. The third to the nth sheet of glazing material may have substantially the same dimensions in the plane of the glazing material.
