Improvements in or relating to sash members
The member 12 comprises an elongate plastic sash body 14 having a unitary cross-sectional profile 16 including a first retention portion 18 to receive and selectively retain an interior bead member 20, the interior bead member defining a first abutment formation 22. An internal glazing face 26 of a corresponding glazing panel 28, in use, abuts against the first abutment portion in order to locate the glazing panel in a desired depth wise position relative to the unitary cross-sectional profile. The profile also includes a second retention portion 32 to selectively retain an exterior bead member 34 having a glazing panel retention portion 36 that defines a second abutment formation 66 against which an exterior glazing face 42 of the corresponding glazing panel in use abuts. The abutment face 64 is configured such that it and the exterior glazing face are coplanar with one another when the glazing panel is located in its desired depth wise position, whereby in use a depth wise spacing of and exterior bead face 70 of the exterior bead member is defined by a depth wise thickness 72 of the abutment portion of the exterior bead member.
