A wheel clamp for a vehicle
A wheel clamp for immobilising a vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle comprises a wheel having a first face, a second face, a periphery forming a ground-contacting surface of the wheel, a plurality of mounting apertures for receiving wheel fasteners and one or more further openings. The wheel clamp comprises a body arranged to be positioned, in use, adjacent to the first face of the wheel, locking means to releasably secure the wheel clamp to the vehicle, the locking means comprising a first locking member arranged to extend through a mounting aperture of the wheel to attach the wheel to a hub of the vehicle and a second locking member operable to releasably attach the body to the first locking member, a coupling pin extending from the body and arranged to extend into an opening of the wheel so as to couple rotationally the wheel clamp to the wheel, and an immobilising arm extending from the body and arranged to extend adjacent to the periphery of the wheel and beyond the second face of the wheel such that, in use, rotation of the wheel is blocked by contact between the immobilising arm and a part of the vehicle.
