An inflatable enclosure e.g. a shelter or tent, for a vehicle having a frame 11 formed of elongate inflatable chambers 12A/12B, a water-resistant cover material 16A/16B supported by the frame, and a floor material 17 which is removably attachable to a side portion 16B of the cover material, preferably by zipper 18. The frame and cover material provide a closable access opening or doorway 14 for a vehicle. At least one of the elongate chambers 12B is situated diagonally in a lateral side portion of the frame to provide strength to the enclosure e.g. in adverse weather. The structure is preferably portable and can be used to protect a vehicle from damage e.g. from weather. Valves 13 may be used to isolate chambers in the event of a leak. The chambers may have a fill valve 15A and a pressure valve 15B, and may each be surround by a resilient sleeve. There may be additional zippered doors 19 for allowing access to the enclosure.
