An inflatable enclosure or tent for a vehicle having a frame, a water-resistant cover material supported by the frame, and a floor material which is attachable to the side portion of the cover material, this attachment may be via a zip. The enclosure is inflatable when the side portion of the cover material and the floor material are attached to each other. Preferably the enclosure is portable. The frame has access for a vehicle and the cover material has closable access for a vehicle and may have an additional door for accessing the vehicle within the enclosure. The frame comprises elongate inflatable chambers, at least one of which chambers is situated in a diagonal orientation within the vertical plane of the lateral side portion of the frame. The inflatable chambers may be received in resilient sleeves, may be all of the same diameter and may be arranged to form regular polygons. The chambers may be all inflatable from a single point but may have isolation valves allowing them to be manually separated. Provision may be made for air flow through the enclosure.
