Window or door opening and closing device
Window or door opening tool comprising a grip at one end of a pole (22), other end supporting a handle engagement means such as inverted U-shape channel, 28 via pivot 44 to enclose a portion of a handle allowing a user to rotate the handle. An actuator such as protruding pin 32 for depressing a latch button of handle (66, fig.9); the lateral position of actuator pin 32 is adjustable for different handles, e.g. pin 32 may be adjustably mounted in a slot 74 or three discrete threaded holes may be provided (A, B, C, figure 2) for left-handed, right-handed or in-line button handles. Housing 28 may include threaded holes 82 for attachment of a key module (84, fig.16) which holds a replaceable key for locking/unlocking handle. The angle of housing to pole may be adjusted. Allows for operation of out of reach windows for example by wheelchair users.
