The opening 202 is at least 0.5 mm wider than the tip 107 of the bolt 100 and is unthreaded along at least the upper 0.5 mm of its depth. Later embodiments relate to a cistern connector kit for a toilet comprising coach bolts, a plate and a plurality of thumb nuts, a retaining plate for a toilet cistern connector and a method of connecting a toilet cistern to a toilet pan.
