Bicycle lock
A bicycle lock 100 for coupling to a cycle stand 160. The bicycle lock 100 is configured immovably or permanently coupled to the cycle stand, such that the lock cannot be removed by a user in normal operation. The lock comprises a chassis and a coupling mechanism to couple the chassis to the cycle stand. The lock further comprises a locking mechanism 107 comprising: fastening means 106 for connecting a bicycle 150 to the chassis; and a latch moveable between a first position where the fastening means is retained by the locking mechanism and a second position where the fastening means is released by the locking mechanism. The lock further comprises a communication module configured to control movement of the moveable latch.
