Portable utilities module
Portable utilities module 100 for supplying power, water, waste water storage and gas to a temporary medical facility, the module have a rigid mobile housing unit 1, e.g. an ISO shipping container, with a plurality of walls 1a-d; a power source e.g. diesel generator 2, electrically connected to a power outlet located in a wall; a clean water storage unit 4 with a fluid outlet 6 in a wall; a waste fluid storage unit 7 with fluid inlet in a wall; a gas storage unit 14 with a gas outlet 13 in a wall; wherein the module has a stowed configuration, wherein any doors/closures in the walls are shut such that the walls define the outer perimeter of the module. There may be a water purification system 16. Water systems may include pumps, a heater and cooler. Gas may be oxygen for medical use. The power source may include solar, biogas or hydrogen engines, a fuel cell, a micro turbine. The module may receive external power. The module can be deployed in an emergency to provide services for a portable medical facility.
