Universal fence post base foot
A universal base 10 is configured to be used with the posts of a perimeter fence. Each base comprises a base plate 20 which is held in place by placing a suitable weight onto the plate. A securing arm 30 at a first end is pivotally coupled to the base plate, and a second end is configured to be coupled to the fence post, via a slot (35 figure 3) that allows the post to be adjusted horizontally before being secured in place. A weight arm 40 has one end pivotally coupled to the base plate, which is configured to act as a back stop thereby preventing the weights from sliding off the base plate. The securing arm and weight arm are configured to pivot about the ends coupled to the base plate, such that the arms can move from a position parallel to the plate to a position perpendicular to the plate and are configured such that when both arms are parallel to the plate the arms are positioned coaxially relative to each other.
