PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle radio communication device which allows an auxiliary communication device to be kept in a vehicle having functions of locking and unlocking a door and starting a motor through a communication device.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle radio communication device 10 comprises: a radio communication section 13 which transmits and receives a radio signal to and from a portable main key 5a and an auxiliary key 5b; a control section 11 which detects whether or not each of the main key 5a and the auxiliary key 5b exists outside a vehicle 1 or inside the same; and a lock switch 15 which receives an operation relating to door locking. The on-vehicle communication device 10 also has an invalidation section 20 which, when a locking command receiving section 15 receives a signal related to a command to lock a door and the control section 11 detects that the main key 5a exists outside the vehicle 1 and the auxiliary key 5b exists inside the same, invalidates part of functions of the auxiliary key 5b, which has been detected to exist inside the vehicle 1.
【課題】通信機によるドアの施錠／解錠及び原動機始動を行う機能を備えた車輌にて、予備の通信機を車輌内に置いておくことを可能とする車載無線通信装置を提供する。【解決手段】車載無線通信装置１０は、可搬型のメインキー５ａ及び予備キー５ｂとの間で無線信号の送受信を行う無線通信部１３と、無線通信部１３が送受信した無線信号に応じて、メインキー５ａ及び予備キー５ｂそれぞれが車輌１外及び車輌１内に存在するか否かを検知する制御部１１と、ドアの施錠に係る操作を受け付ける施錠スイッチ１５とを備える。また、車載無線通信装置１０は、施錠指示受信部１５がドアの施錠指示に係る信号を受信し、かつ制御部１１がメインキー５ａが車輌１外に存在し、予備キー５ｂが車輌１内に存在すると検知した場合、車輌１内に存在すると検知された予備キー５ｂの一部の機能を無効化する無効化部２０を備える。【選択図】図１
