To reduce a dark current in a radio communication device having a communication apparatus which radio communicates with a mobile apparatus.SOLUTION: A vehicle 10 includes: an NFC communication apparatus 12 which uses a communication method conforming to an NFC standard; a BLE communication apparatus 14 which uses a communication method conforming to a BLE communication standard; and a radio controller 16. The communication range of the BLE communication apparatus 14 is longer than the communication range of the NFC communication apparatus 12. Each of the NFC communication apparatus 12 and the BLE communication apparatus 14 is configured to perform polling in order to detect a mobile apparatus 50. A radio controller 16 starts polling by the NFC communication apparatus 12 on completion of connection between the BLE communication apparatus 14 and the mobile apparatus 50 by radio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
