DRYER OF ASPHALT PLANT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer of an asphalt plant capable of more effectively controlling an exhaust gas temperature by rotation speed control of a drum and saving energy, and a rotation control method therefor.SOLUTION: The rotation speed of a drum 3 of a dryer 1 is made variable and a rotation direction can be freely switched between a forward rotation and a reverse rotation, at the same time approximately circular arc-shaped dam bodies 20 which partially dam and temporarily retain the flow of aggregates are intermittently provided circumferentially along the inner peripheral wall of the drum 3, and a retained aggregate amount is made not to be greatly varied even when the rotation speed of the drum 3 is changed. Also, at one end of each of the dam body 20, a guide piece 22 is provided, which pushes back the aggregates flowing down from the upstream side of the drum 3 during the forward rotation of the drum 3 to restrain the aggregates from passing through gaps between the respective dam bodies 20, and on the other hand, guides the aggregates to the gaps during the reverse rotation of the drum 3 to promote flowing-down of the aggregates.
【課題】 ドラムの回転数制御によって排ガス温度をより効果的にコントロールできて省エネルギー化が図れるアスファルトプラントのドライヤ及びその回転制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】 ドライヤ1のドラム3の回転数を可変速とし、かつ回転方向を正逆切替自在とする一方、ドラム3内周壁に沿って骨材の流れを一部堰き止めて一時的に滞留させる略円弧形状の堰き止め体19を断続的に周設し、ドラム3回転数を変化させてもドラム3内の骨材滞留量を大きく変動させないようにしておく。また、前記堰き止め体20の一端部には、ドラム3の正回転時にドラム3上流側より流下してくる骨材を押し戻して各堰き止め体20間の隙間部より骨材が通り抜けるのを抑制する一方、ドラム3の逆回転時に骨材を前記隙間部へ案内して骨材の流下を促進させるガイド片22を備える。【選択図】 図1
