WATER INTAKE ARRANGEMENT OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water intake arrangement of nuclear power plant capable of constantly ensuring cooling water of proper amount in a water intake pool to supply the cooling water to a predetermined cooling position by means of a pump.SOLUTION: A water intake arrangement 50 includes: a water intake path 51 one end of which communicates with the sea; a water intake pool 52 which is connected to the other end of the water intake path 51 and an upper part of which is opened; a sea water pump 53 and a circulation water pump 54 which are disposed in the water intake pool 52; a siphon 71 which is formed in the water intake path 51; and an air-supply path 72 capable of supplying the air to the siphon 71.
【課題】原子力発電プラントの取水設備において、取水槽に常時適正量の冷却水を確保することでポンプにより所定の冷却位置に冷却水を供給可能とする。【解決手段】取水設備50において、一端部が海に連通する取水路51と、取水路51の他端部に連結されて上方が開放する取水槽52と、取水槽52に設けられる海水ポンプ53及び循環水ポンプ54と、取水路51に設けられるサイフォン部71と、サイフォン部71に空気を供給可能な給気通路72とを設ける。【選択図】図1
