WATER INTAKE PORT PROTECTION ARRANGEMENT OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water intake port protection arrangement of nuclear power plant capable of satisfying requirements of improving the security while ensuring the intake water flow rate.SOLUTION: A water intake port protection arrangement 20 of nuclear power plant is an arrangement for protecting a water intake port 13 of a nuclear power plant. The water intake port protection arrangement 20 includes a floating gate 22 for limiting intake area 13S for taking water of the water intake port 13 below the water surface 1. The water intake port protection arrangement 20 controls the close position of the floating gate 22 to prevent the area of the water intake area 13S from becoming less than a predetermined lower limit area (=H2×W1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
