PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sign board post which makes drivers avoid the contact of their vehicles with it.SOLUTION: A sing board post consists of a base and a body column. The body column is made of either synthetic resin, natural rubber, synthetic rubber, or a combination of them to have flexibility, and its entire surface is applied with metallic-color coating to demonstrate metallic appearance. The metallic appearance of the aforesaid body column is expected to have an effect that drivers misrecognize the body column as a metallic column and avoid the contact of their vehicles with the sign board column. Even when the aforesaid body column bends due to the contact with a vehicle, it recovers to the state of being misrecognized as a metallic column, enabling that the driver of another vehicle will misrecognize it as a metallic column.
【課題】運転手に運転車両の接触を忌避させる標示柱を提供する。【解決手段】ベースと本体柱とを備えた標識柱で、前記本体柱を、合成樹脂、天然ゴム、合成ゴムの中から選択又は組み合わせた材料で形成させて可撓性を備えさせ、前記本体柱の外面に全体に亘って金属色塗装を施し金属調の外観に設ける。前記本体柱を金属調の外観に設けるので、車両の運転者がこの本体柱を金属製の柱体と誤認して標識柱への車両の接触を忌避する効果が期待できる。車両が接触して前記本体柱が曲がってしまった場合でも、復元して金属製の柱体のように誤認される状態へ再び戻るので、別の車両の運転手に金属製の柱体と誤認させることができる。【選択図】 図５
