PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic ball capable of breaking comparatively simply with an impact force such as a striking force, while having high pressure resistance.SOLUTION: In a hollow ceramic ball member, which is a hollow member having an approximately spherical outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface, ceramics containing at least carbon are used as a main component, and the carbon containing ratio in an inside region containing the inner peripheral surface is larger than the carbon containing ratio in an outside region containing the outer peripheral surface.
【課題】 高い耐圧性を有しつつ、打撃力等の衝撃力で比較的簡単に破壊することができるセラミックボールを提供する。【解決手段】 略球状の外周面と、内周面とを有する中空部材であって、少なくとも炭素を含むセラミックスを主成分とし、前記内周面を含む内側領域の炭素含有割合が、前記外周面を含む外側領域の炭素含有割合に比べて大きいことを特徴とする中空セラミックボール部材を提供する。【選択図】 図１
