PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic ball which can be destructed relatively easily with impact such as striking force while having high pressure resistance.SOLUTION: This invention provides a hollow ceramic ball member that is a hollow member having a substantially spherical outer peripheral face, and an inner peripheral face, and is mainly composed of ceramic at least comprising carbon, wherein a carbon content ratio of an outside area comprising the outer peripheral face is higher than a carbon content ratio of an inside area of comprising the inner peripheral face.
