PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install a continuous handrail in a corner part of a wall surface in stairs, by using a handrail member in which a covering material is put on a metallic core material thereof.SOLUTION: A handrail elbow member is connected to a handrail member 30 in which a covering material 32 is put on a metallic core material 31, and comprises a body 1 for constituting a bent part of a handrail and a rotary body 2 installed in this, and the body 1 is formed by continuously providing a fitting-in part 4 in which the handrail member 30 is fit by opening on an end surface, in a bending part of which an axis is bent, and the rotary body 2 is formed in a shape of extending a fitting-in shaft part 6 in an axial direction toward the outside of the fitting-in part 4 from a central part of a flange part 5 inserted into the innermost side of the fitting-in part 4 of the body 1, and the body 1 and the rotary body 2 are joined by the flange part 5 so as to be relatively rotatable and immovable in the axial direction around the axis of the fitting-in part 4, and the fitting-in shaft part 6 is inserted into the core material 31 of the handrail member 30, and is locked in a circumferential direction accompanying fitting-in of the handrail member 30 to the fitting-in part 4.
【課題】金属製の芯材に被覆材を被せた手摺部材を用いて、階段における壁面のコーナー部等に簡単に連続手摺を設置できるようにする。【解決手段】金属製の芯材31に被覆材32を被せた手摺部材30に接続する手摺用エルボ部材において、手摺の曲がった部分を構成する本体1と、これに内装される回転体2とを備え、前記本体1は、軸線が曲がった屈曲部3に、端面で開口して手摺部材30が嵌め入れられる嵌入部4を連設したものとし、前記回転体2は、本体1の嵌入部4の奥側に内挿されるフランジ部5の中心部から係入軸部6が嵌入部4の外側へ向かって軸方向に延びる形状とし、前記本体1と回転体2とを嵌入部4の軸線を中心に相対回転可能で軸方向に移動しないようにフランジ部5で結合し、手摺部材30の嵌入部4への嵌め入れに伴い、係入軸部6が手摺部材30の芯材31に挿入されて、周方向に係止されるようにする。【選択図】図1
