PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a dead bolt disconnectable or hard to be disconnected from a receiving part, even if a sheet metal door is deformed by destructively strongly pulling, when used by being installed in the sheet metal door.SOLUTION: A dead bolt lock comprises: a lock pawl 4 protrusibly-retreatably arranged on a dead bolt 3A; and a power transmission mechanism 5A capable of moving th lock pawl 4 by interlocking with a cylinder lock 2. The dead bolt lock makes the dead bolt 3A engage with a receiving part and protrudes the lock pawl 4 from the dead bolt 3A engaged with the receiving part to make the lock pawl 4 to engage with the receiving part, by locking operation of the cylinder lock 2, and separates the dead bolt 3A from the receiving part by retracting the lock pawl 4 into the dead bolt 3A by unlocking operation of the cylinder lock 2.
【課題】板金扉に取り付けて使用した場合に、板金扉を破壊的に強く引いて変形させても、デッドボルトを受け部から外れないように又は外れにくくする。【解決手段】デッドボルト錠は、デッドボルト３Ａに出没可能に配設されるロック爪４、シリンダー錠２に連動してロック爪４を可動する動力伝達機構５Ａを備え、シリンダー錠２の施錠操作により、デッドボルト３Ａを受け部に係合させ受け部に係合されたデッドボルト３Ａからロック爪４を突出して受け部に係合させ、シリンダー錠２の解錠操作により、ロック爪４をデッドボルト３Ａに没入してデッドボルト３Ａを受け部から離脱させる。【選択図】図１
