MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ROLLING BODY FOR ROLLING SUPPORT DEVICE, ROLLING BODY FOR ROLLING SUPPORT DEVICE, AND ROLLING SUPPORT DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an elaborate rolling body identical to one subjected to HIP treatment even in a case of saving the HIP treatment.SOLUTION: A rolling body of a rolling support device employs an oxide based ceramic material that mainly comprises zirconia (ZrO)-alumina (AlO) and has porosity of 2% or less. Provided is a manufacturing method of the rolling body for the rolling support device preparing the rolling body by subjecting the oxide based ceramic material to primary calcination with pressure of 8 MPa or more in inert gas atmosphere and making the oxide based ceramic material subjected to primary calcination into an elaborate state. Also, provided are a rolling body prepared by the manufacturing method, and a rolling support device employing the rolling body.
【課題】HIP処理を省いてもHIP処理したものと同等の緻密な転動体を製造する。【解決手段】転がり支持装置の転動体はジルコニア(ZrO2)−アルミナ(Al2O3)を主成分とする空孔率が2%以下の酸化物系セラミック材料を採用し、不活性ガス雰囲気中にて8MPa以上の圧力で前記酸化物系セラミック材料を一次焼成し緻密化させることで、前記転動体を作製することを特徴とする転がり支持装置用転動体の製造方法、及びこの製造方法で作製された転動体、該転動体を採用した転がり支持装置。【選択図】図1
