PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a western style toilet bowl device capable of easily opening and closing a cover covering an upper surface of a casing body with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A casing 4 fixed on a rear upper surface of a toilet bowl body 2 includes a casing body 41, and a cover 42 covering an upper surface of the casing body 41. A recession cutout in a longitudinal direction is formed in an upper rear end of the casing body 41, a guide groove extended backward in a diagonally upper direction is formed in one of inner side surfaces confronting in the recession, the cover 42 has an engagement part protruded to a rear surface side in the vicinity of a rear end, a cylindrical protrusion protruded to a side part is formed in the engagement part, and the engagement part is stored in the recession in a state that the protrusion is slidably inserted in the guide groove, and when the protrusion in the guide groove is positioned in an upper side than when the cover is closed, the cover 42 can be turned by turning of the engagement part around the protrusion as a spindle.
【課題】簡便な構造で、ケーシング本体の上面を覆うカバーの開閉操作を容易に行うことができる洋風便器装置を提供する。【解決手段】便器本体２の後部上面に固定されたケーシング４は、ケーシング本体４１と、ケーシング本体４１の上面部を覆うカバー４２とを有し、ケーシング本体４１の上部後端には、前後方向に切欠かれた凹部が形成されており、さらに、凹部において対向する内側面の一方には、後方斜め上方向に延びるガイド溝が形成されており、カバー４２は、後端付近に、裏面側へ向かって突出する係合部を有し、係合部には、側方に向かって突出する円柱形の突起が形成されており、かつ、係合部は、突起がガイド溝内にスライド自在に挿入された状態で凹部に収納されており、ガイド溝における突起の位置が、カバーが閉鎖状態の際の位置より上方に位置している場合に、突起を支軸とした係合部の回転によってカバー４２が回動自在とされている。【選択図】図１
