PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store an article (deposit) surely in a storage place corresponding to a processing date.SOLUTION: An article storage device for storing an article includes a plurality of storage places for storing the article, and an indication unit 5 for indicating a storage place where the article is to be stored based on a processing date when the article is to be taken out from the storage place, and further has an erroneous storage prevention function for storing the article in a storage place indicated by the indication unit 5, when storing the article in the storage place.
