To efficiently grasp a subsequent status of an article taken out from an article storage apparatus.SOLUTION: An article storage system comprises an important article management device 10 having a storage unit for storing an article deposited from a customer, and a teller machine 20 for performing predetermined currency processing. The important article management device 10 determines whether or not to make a status report request to the teller machine 20 based on attribute information on an important article when a taking-out operation for the important article stored in the storage unit is performed, and notifies the teller machine 20 of status report request information when it is determined that the status report request is to be made. The teller machine 20 notifies a management device 50 of processing completion information when completing currency processing using the important article for which the status report request information has been received from the important article management device 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】物品保管装置から取り出された物品のその後の状況を効率良く把握することを課題とする。【解決手段】顧客から預かった物品を収納する収納部を有する重要物管理装置１０と、所定の貨幣処理を行う出納機２０とを有し、重要物管理装置１０は、収納部に収納された重要物の取出操作が行われた場合に、該重要物の属性情報に基づいて状況報告依頼を出納機２０に行うか否かを判定し、状況報告依頼を行うと判定された場合に、出納機２０に対して状況報告依頼情報を通知し、出納機２０は、重要物管理装置１０から状況報告依頼情報を受け付けた重要物を用いた貨幣処理を完了した場合に、管理装置５０に対して処理完了情報を通知する。【選択図】図１
