MONOLITHIC REFRACTORY FOR TUNDISH LINING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress cracking and detachment during dissection and improve durability, in a monolithic refractory for tundish lining formed of alumina-magnesia quality.SOLUTION: The monolithic refractory for tundish lining comprises, in total 100 mass% of alumina raw material, magnesia raw material, silica superfine powder, and alumina cement: 70 mass% or more and 92 mass% or less of the alumina raw material; and 0.5 mass% or more and 12 mass% or less of the magnesia raw material. The magnesia raw material includes a fine powder magnesia raw material whose particle diameter is less than 75 μm, and a content ratio of the silica superfine powder/alumina cement in the total 100 mass% is 0.4 or more and 1.2 or less and the fine powder magnesia raw material is included by 0.5 mass% or more and 6.9 mass% or less in the total 100 mass%.
