BASE ISOLATION FOUNDATION STRUCTURE AND WATER CUTOFF MEMBER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation foundation structure capable of preventing rainwater from infiltrating from a clearance between an upper dividing part and a lower dividing part of a foundation constituting part of a building, and capable of also cutting off water even if the displacement residue due to an earthquake is generated.SOLUTION: A ground surface side wide part 11 of a foundation constituting part 1 of a building 100 is divided into an upper dividing part 11a and a lower dividing part 11b, and a base isolation mechanism 3 is interposed between the upper dividing part 11a and the lower dividing part 11b. An outdoor side end part between the upper dividing part 11a and the lower dividing part 11b is provided with a water cutoff member 2 having a plurality of flexible projection parts 2a, a support member 4 for supporting the water cutoff member 2, and a receiving member 3 having a contact surface 3a for being in contact with the flexible projection parts 2a. The plurality of flexible projection parts 2a are deformed and moved while being in contact with the receiving member 3 in response to positional displacement between the upper dividing part 11a and the lower dividing part 11b, and at least one flexible projection part 2a secures a state of being in contact with the receiving member.
