PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation structure and a base isolation member that may be manufactured at a low price.SOLUTION: A base isolation member 10 is laid out on a ground 3 where a structure 2 is constructed, the base isolation member containing low-density polyethylene and high-density polyethylene made from a wasted optical cable 23. Since the base isolation member 10 uses wasted optical cables that may be acquired at a low price, the base isolation structure may be manufactured at a low price. The base isolation member 10 is also high in toughness and weather resistance, because a covering material of the wasted optical cable 23 contains a large amount of plasticizer and carbon black.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】安価に製造可能な免震構造及び免震部材を提供する。【解決手段】建造物2を構築する地盤3に、廃棄光ケーブル23を原料とする低密度ポリエチレンと高密度ポリエチレンとを含む免震部材10を配置する。免震部材10は、廃棄光ケーブルを利用したものであるので、安価に入手可能であるので、免震構造を安価に製造することができる。また、免震部材10は、廃棄光ケーブル23の被覆材であるため、可塑剤、カーボンブラックの含有量が多く、強靭性、耐候性を有する。【選択図】図2
