JOINING STRUCTURE OF SPLIT TYPE BUCKLING RESTRAINING BRACE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure of a split type buckling restraining brace, excellent in settlement and capable of also reducing costs, by restricting the member length and weight in transportation, even when using the buckling restraining brace for use such as earthquake-proof remodeling.SOLUTION: One buckling restraining brace 1 is formed by serially joining two buckling restraining brace split bodies 1A and 1A of respectively sandwiching a core material 2 by a restraining material 3. An end part of mutual joining side core materials 2 of both buckling restraining brace split bodies 1A is formed as a core material joining side projection part 2b projected more than the restraining material 3. Mutual joining plates 7 vertical to the core material axial direction are welded to the tip of these core material joining side projection parts 2b. The mutual joining plates 7 and 7 of both buckling restraining brace split bodies 1A are joined by a bolt in a tensile joining form by using the bolt 10 in the core material axial direction directly or indirectly.
【課題】 耐震改修等の用途に座屈拘束ブレースを用いる場合にも、運搬時の部材長さや重量の制約を達成でき、納まり良くコストも低減できる分割型座屈拘束ブレースの接合構造を提供する。【解決手段】 それぞれ芯材2を拘束材3で挟み付けた2本の座屈拘束ブレース分割体1A,1Aを直列に接合して1本の座屈拘束ブレース1とする。両座屈拘束ブレース分割体1Aの互いの接合側の芯材2の端部を、拘束材3よりも突出させた芯材接合側突出部2bとする。これら芯材接合側突出部2bの先端に、芯材軸心方向に垂直な相互接合プレート7を溶接する。両座屈拘束ブレース分割体1Aの相互接合プレート同士7,7を、直接にまたは間接的に、芯材軸方向のボルト10を用いて引張接合形式でボルト接合する。【選択図】 図1
