GLAZING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SANITARY EARTHENWARE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glazing apparatus and a method of producing sanitary earthenware which allow reliable glazing in a drainage channel of a molding by preventing occurrence of uneven application of a glaze and reduction of the amount of a glaze used.SOLUTION: A glazing apparatus 1 is used to apply a glaze to the inner surface of a hollow drainage channel of a molding of sanitary earthenware before firing and includes a turning machine 50 serving as a holding part holding a molding M(MS, MP) and a glaze supply part 7 which packs a glaze D in nearly the same amount of the space volume of a drainage channel TR into the drainage channel TR from the drain port of the drainage channel so as to apply the glaze to the inner surface of the drainage channel.
【課題】釉薬の塗布ムラが発生を防いで成形体の排水路内に釉薬を確実に塗布することができ、釉薬の使用量を減らすことができる施釉装置及び衛生陶器の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】施釉装置１は、焼成前の衛生陶器の成形体の中空の排水路の内面に対して釉薬を塗布する施釉装置であり、成形体Ｍ（ＭＳ、ＭＰ）を保持する保持部としての転回機５０と、排水路ＴＲ内に排水路ＴＲの空間容積とほぼ同量の釉薬Ｄを、排水路ＴＲの排水口から排水路ＴＲ内に充填して排水路ＴＲの内面に釉薬を塗布する釉薬供給部７を備える。【選択図】図１
