PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency protection device capable of capturing vessels, containers and other objects washed away by a tsunami of a scale beyond assumption, and may be kept low at normal times so as not to damage the environment.SOLUTION: A plurality of bases is installed and fixed separately on a foundation platform where a tsunami flow is assumed to strike. On each of the bases, a protective column is installed that tilts in the forward direction of a tsunami flow when standing by and rises when lifted by the tsunami flow, supported on a hinge shaft. Wire ropes that capture drifting objects are stretched between the protective columns in multiple tiers, along with holding members of which one end is fixed on the front side of the foundation platform and the other end is fixed on the lifting side of the column, to rise diagonally toward the other end when the protective columns rise, thereby functioning as a member to hold down the rising protective columns.
【課題】 想定を超える津波が来た場合でも押し流されてくる船舶やコンテナなどを捕捉し得るとともに平時は低く環境を損なわないようにすることができる非常用防護装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 津波流の襲来が想定される設置基盤に複数のベースを互いに離間するようにして固定配備するとともに、これらの各ベースには、津波流の流れてくる前側に倒れて待機する一方津波流により浮上しながら起き上がるように起倒自在な防護柱がヒンジ軸で支持されて設けられ、これら防護柱には、漂流物を捕捉可能なワイヤロープが上下複数段に亘るように張られるとともに、防護柱の起き上がりを止める部材として、一端が設置基盤の前方側に固定され他端が起き上がり側に止められて防護柱の起き上がり時に前記一端から他端に向けて斜め上がり状になる引き止め部材が設けられていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図２
