PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a discharge quantity of water from a water pipe 11 by promoting thawing of an operation chamber, in a freezing preventive device 1 provided with a cylindrical body 2 connected to the water pipe, an inflow chamber 4 communicating with the water pipe provided in the body, a body inner drain passage 5 having a valve port 51 communicating with the inflow chamber on the upper end and extending downward from the valve port, a body inner cylindrical operation chamber 6 for enclosing the drain passage, a valve element 7 for sealing the operation chamber from above and capable of blocking up the valve port from above and a spring 8 for energizing the valve element to the lower closing side, and discharging the water in the water pipe from the inflow chamber via the valve port and the drain passage, by moving the valve element to the upper opening side against energization force of the spring by the expansion pressure resulting from the freezing-expanding of the water in the operation chamber, in the freezing preventive device 1 installed in the water pipe.SOLUTION: When a valve element is moved to the upper opening side, a valve port is opened, and sealing of an operation chamber by the valve element is released, and water in a water pipe flows in the operation chamber from above via an inflow chamber.
【課題】水配管11に装着される凍結防止装置1であって、水配管に接続される筒状の本体2と、本体内に設けられた水配管に連通する流入室4と、上端に流入室に連通する弁口51を有し、弁口から下方にのびる本体内の排水通路5と、排水通路を囲う本体内の筒状の作動室6と、作動室を上方から封止すると共に、弁口を上方から閉塞可能な弁体7と、弁体を下方の閉じ側に付勢するバネ8とを備え、作動室内の水が凍結膨張し、この膨張圧力で弁体がバネの付勢力に抗して上方の開き側に移動して、水配管内の水が流入室から弁口と排水通路とを介して排出されるようにしたものにおいて、作動室の解凍を促進して水配管からの水の排出量を減少できるようにする。【解決手段】弁体が上方の開き側に移動したとき、弁口が開かれると共に、弁体による作動室の封止が解除されて、水配管内の水が流入室を介して上方から作動室に流入する。【選択図】図2
