ROAD FREEZING PREVENTIVE AND SNOW MELTING METHOD
To provide a freezing preventive and snow melting method that has less power consumption and lower construction costs.SOLUTION: A row of LED chips 12a of an LED tape 12 generates heat with lighting. The heat is conducted to a surface of a road 10 to prevent the surface of the road 10 from freezing or to melt snow. Since the LED tape 12 which has less power consumption and is suitable for mass production is used as a heating element, the freezing preventive and snow melting method can be implemented at low cost. The LED tape 12 is buried in a groove 11, the groove is then filled with silicone resin 13 and solidified, and the surface of the road 10 is flattened. Thus, the traffic of people and vehicles is not obstructed, and excellent durability is achieved without worry of disconnection caused by the shoes of passing people or the tires of passing vehicles. In addition, an energization state can be determined by illuminating a freezing preventive target, and the operation of the sensor can be confirmed. Even if snow or ice is on the road surface, it is safe because the light passes through and can be seen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
