MULTILAYER RESIN-COATED SAND
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler for artificial turf that has a production process affording a lower cost with a reduced amount of waste and has a resin giving a uniform coating with excellent wear resistance, good tactile properties and aesthetic appearance.SOLUTION: A multilayer coated particulate material is produced through a step of blending two or more polymers having a melting point temperature difference of 5°C or higher and selected from a propylene-based homopolymer and a propylene-based copolymer to produce a polymer blend and mixing the polymer blend with a particulate substrate heated to not less than a melting point of the polymer blend to form a mixture; a step of injecting water and/or air into the heated mixture to cool the mixture; and a step of separating a coated particulate material after cooling.
【課題】人工芝の充填材において、無駄を減らしてより低いコストをもたらす製造プロセスと、優れた耐摩耗性、良好な触感および美しさならびに均一なコーティングを生じさせるレジンを有する充填材提供する。【解決手段】プロピレン系ホモポリマーおよびコポリマーから選択される５℃以上の融点温度差を有する２つ以上のポリマーをブレンドしてポリマーブレンドを製造し、それをポリマーブレンドの融点以上に加熱した粒状基材と混合して混合物を形成する段階、加熱混合物へ水および／または空気を注入して冷却する段階、冷却後のコーテッド粒状材料を分離する段階を経て、多層コーテッド粒状材料を得る。【選択図】なし
