PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckling restraining brace that achieves strength enough to resist even a repeated major earthquake and that can effectively suppress the occurrence of warping after welding.SOLUTION: A pair of buckling restraining members 3 and 4 arranged along both sides of a brace core material 2 are connected together by a plurality of weld zones 18 in the state of sandwiching the brace core material 2. In this case, coarseness and fineness are set for arrangement density of the weld zones 18 throughout a length so that the arrangement density of the weld zones 18 can become lower in central areas of the buckling restraining members 3 and 4 than in end areas at both ends adjacent to the central areas.
【課題】繰り返しの大地震も耐えられるだけの強度を実現し、且つ、溶接後の反りの発生を効果的に抑制することのできる座屈拘束ブレースを提供する。【解決手段】ブレース芯材2の両面に沿って配置される一対の座屈拘束部材3,4同士を、ブレース芯材2を挟み込んだ状態で、複数個所の溶接部18によって結合させる。ここで、座屈拘束部材3,4の中央領域とこれに隣接する両端の端部領域とで、端部領域よりも中央領域のほうが溶接部18の配置密度が疎となるように、全長に亘る溶接部18の配置密度に疎密を設定する。【選択図】図1
