CORDIERITE JOINT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordierite joint reduced in variation of strength.SOLUTION: A cordierite joint is composed of cordierite sintered bodies joined together. With the value of the four-point strength of a part not including a joining boundary surface expressed as A and the value of the four-point strength of a part including the joining surface as B, the condition |(A-B)/A×100≤6| is satisfied. As a result, breakage and joint detachment due to variation of strength is suppressed even when mechanical stress or mechanical stress plus thermal stress is applied to a cordierite joint, leading to high reliability.
【課題】 強度のばらつきの少ないコージェライト接合体を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明のコージェライト接合体は、コージェライト質焼結体同士が接合されてなるコージェライト接合体であって、接合界面を含まない部分の4点曲げ強度の値をA、該接合界面を含む部分の4点曲げ強度の値をBとしたとき、|(A−B)/A?100≦6|を満たすことから、機械的な応力若しくは機械的に加えて熱的な応力がコージェライト接合体に掛かったとしても、強度のばらつきに起因した破損や接合の剥離は少ないため、高い信頼性を有する。【選択図】 図1
