PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater storage system that serves both the functions to store and reuse rainwater and to store rainwater temporarily and prevent overflowing of sewerage conduits, with a significantly smaller number of parts and manufacturing processes compared to when first and second storage tanks are manufactured separately.SOLUTION: A first storage tank 11 covered entirely with a water shielding sheet 14 that blocks circulation of rainwater 13 and provided with a rainwater introduction pipe 51 that introduces the rainwater 13 is installed underground for storing the rainwater 13. A second rainwater storage tank 12 is installed underground adjacent to the first storage tank 11, the second storage tank being covered with a water permeating sheet 16 that allows circulation of the rainwater 13, at least on the outer peripheral surface and the bottom surface. Furthermore, an overflow pipe 51 is installed above the first storage tank 11 so as to penetrate the water shielding sheet 14, for leading rainwater stored in the first storage tank 11 that exceeds the prescribed water level through the overflow pipe 51 to the second storage tank 12.
【課題】雨水を貯留して再利用する機能と、雨水を一時的に貯留して下水道管渠等が溢れるのを防止する機能の両方を同時に満たすとともに、第1及び第2貯留槽を別々に製作した場合と比較して、部品点数及び製作工数を大幅に低減する。【解決手段】全面が雨水13の流通を阻止する遮水シート14で被覆されかつ雨水13を導く雨水導入管51を有する第1貯留槽11が雨水13を貯留可能に地中に設けられる。また少なくとも外周面及び底面が雨水13の流通を許容する透水シート16で被覆された第2貯留槽12が第1貯留槽11に隣接して地中に設けられる。更に第1貯留槽11の上部にオーバフロー管51が遮水シート14を貫通して設けられ、第1貯留槽11に貯留された所定の水位を超える雨水がオーバフロー管51を通って第2貯留槽12に導かれるように構成される。【選択図】図1
