PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater storage system fit for effectively utilizing stored water as clean water.SOLUTION: A rainwater storage system 1 is for storing rainwater that flows in, and includes a water tank 3 for storing rainwater and a water intake part 7 for taking in water stored in the water tank 3. The water tank 3 includes a crushed stone layer 27 filled with a crushed stone. The water intake part 7 takes in rainwater that flows into the water tank 3 through the crushed stone layer 27, thereby generating a water flow in the crushed stone layer 27. The water flow generated in the crushed stone layer 27 enables a microbe to survive on a surface of the crushed stone, and water purified by the microbe in the crushed stone layer 27 is taken in.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 貯水した水を「きれいな水」として有効活用することに適した雨水貯水システムを提供する。【解決手段】 流入する雨水を貯水する雨水貯水システム１であって、雨水を貯水する貯水槽３と、貯水槽３が貯水する水を取水する取水部７を備え、貯水槽３は、砕石が充填された砕石層２７が存在し、取水部７は、貯水槽３に流入する雨水を、砕石層２７を経由して取水することにより、砕石層２７において水の流れを生じさせ、砕石層２７に生じた水の流れによって砕石の表面に微生物を生存させるとともに砕石層２７において微生物により浄化された水を取水する。【選択図】 図１
